God has uniquely equipped every person in the Church with specific skills and gifts while also providing a spiritual benefit as well. If you enjoy spending time with others, helping those who are ill or in need, then we would love to welcome you to join one of our ministries. Do you love spending time knitting or cooking? Pecan Baptist Church works to include everyone who is interested in being involved in ministries of the church.
Our mission is to help connect people to Christ through prayer. We do that by leading and/or teaching others to pray, studying the Scriptures together, providing prayer/ministry opportunities, and by participating in the fulfillment of our church’s vision and mission, as we are inspired by the Holy Spirit.
If you have a Prayer Request please click here “Prayer Page” which will take you to a prayer request form. Please join us as we meet every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the church.
Providing support to individuals in their time of need.
At one time or another we all need the help of others to see our way through a difficult time. This type of care or support comes in different venues which may include transportation, hot meals, volunteering assistance or just listening.
The Care Ministry meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. If you are interested in learning more about this ministry, please contact Mike Massey: email@example.com.
Our purpose is to share God’s love and His Word both locally and throughout the world. Our mission is to proclaim the Good News so that people will be saved from the penalty of their sins, will gather in local churches, and be nurtured to spiritual maturity.
Our church body lends prayer and monetary support to over 60 missionaries around the world. In addition, through MANNA Worldwide, we support a feeding center in Costa Rica, where up to 40 children are given a nutritious meal and a Bible lesson 6 days a week.
“Missionary Prayer Calendars” are located in the lobby and serve as guides to keep our missionaries in prayer. In addition, updates from various missionaries are routinely shared with the congregation during the one of our services.
Would you like to represent Pecan Baptist Church as an ambassador of the church? Do you have a friendly welcoming approach and are willing to greet and welcome everyone as they gather to worship? If you answered yes and would like to join our Greeting Ministry please let us know.
